Married in 2015, Codey and Alexis grew up in the small town of Wetumpka, Alabama. While growing up in the church, neither would follow Christ until later in life. This has created a shared passion for the church in America to be more devoted to Jesus in their conduct and more sacrificial in their efforts to reach their neighbors and the nations.

They both fully believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is God's only plan to save sinners from hell and to offer salvation to all who repent of their sin and believe that Jesus is Lord. As Jesus is the only Savior, this should motivate Christians to do as much as possible to share the good news and to display a new life empowered by the Holy Spirit.

They share five children: Caroline, Tozer, Watson, Piper, and Henry. One baby awaits them in heaven.

Codey serves as the Family Pastor of Valley Baptist Church. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Theology at Midwestern Seminary.
